Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage a team of colleagues to deepen card acceptance in Mexico through third-party partnerships under the OptBlue and Aggregator models.
  • •Engage acquiring partners to deepen relationships and develop strategies that generate value for both American Express and partners.
  • •Lead tactical and strategic implementation of payment method expansion across partners (e.g., POS, contactless, e-commerce).
  • •Analyze and complete strategies to manage the sponsored merchant engagement funnel (enablement, acceptance, activation, and plan N) to maximize Cardmember POC and business volume.
  • •Lead executive-level relationships with acquiring partners and coordinate internally with stakeholders such as Global Acquiring Capabilities, Compliance, Operational Excellence, Marketing, PCG, and Pricing.
