Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report maintenance/repair needs.
  • •Operate the truck to deliver materials to job sites as specified, following dispatch instructions and applicable laws.
  • •Monitor gauges during operation, investigate abnormalities, and perform operator maintenance and minor field repairs.
  • •Maintain delivery communications with dispatch and ensure delivery tickets and signatures are completed as required.
  • •Keep accurate operator logs, forms, and records in accordance with company policy and Department of Transportation regulations.

Key Requirements

  • •Valid Class A CDL (unrestricted) and current DOT medical card.
  • •Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
  • •Maintain strong safety performance with good attendance and punctuality, including willingness to work overtime and weekends/holidays as needed.
  • •Demonstrate ability to work and communicate well with supervisors, truck drivers, heavy equipment operators, and other employees.
  • •Conform to and maintain OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and other company/state rules; must pass pre-employment physical and controlled substance testing.
