Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver through-life continual security assurance and ensure IS/IT technical security measures are implemented, enhanced, and maintained.
  • •Provide technical security point of contact and support delivery teams across project lifecycles.
  • •Conduct security reviews for connected internal/external platform changes and manage security risks, impacts, and mitigations.
  • •Provide cloud security guidance for secure deployment and usage of Thales adopted public cloud infrastructure and SaaS (e.g., Azure) in line with government security guidelines.
  • •Own evidence, documentation, and compliance governance, including handling security incidents within classified environments and coordinating risk assessments and third-party assurance.

Key Requirements

  • •Apply security principles in an agile delivery framework.
  • •Act as a subject matter expert evaluating and implementing technical security products/solutions for public or private sector organisations.
  • •Identify, assess, and manage technical security risks, develop mitigation strategies, and track residual risk across the risk lifecycle.
  • •Manage assurance/compliance activities against security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, Def-Stan 05-138, NIST SP 800-* or NIST CSF).
  • •Interpret system design documentation and derive solution security requirements for on-premises and cloud environments (including MS Azure, Oracle, AWS; PaaS/IaaS/SaaS).
