Key Responsibilities

•Lead engineering transformation across the Customer Due Diligence application with the CIB Client Services Engineering Leadership team.
•Design and build solutions using microservice architecture in close collaboration with the product team.
•Deliver new functionality and replace legacy systems at high cadence, leading by example and supporting other teams.
•Release changes to production every day, owning requirements through discussions with the business through development, testing, release, and production support.
•Lead engineering excellence by developing a strong engineering culture and removing barriers within teams.

Key Requirements

•Strong hands-on backend and/or frontend development experience.
•Experience with microservices and iterative delivery to production, including non-breaking principles and RESTful APIs.
•Extensive experience with Java (17+ preferred) and building/managing database schemas using PostgreSQL.
•Practical exposure to GenAI concepts such as LLMs, RAG, document intelligence, and AI agents (positive).
•Experience influencing engineering mindset and culture across global engineering teams, with ability to break down requirements and ship without large planning cycles.
