Operationally lead Neo’s mortgage funding process, overseeing daily loan funding activities, compliance, and collaboration with Finance, Treasury, and external partners to scale a warehouse facility and whole loan program in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Funding Gatekeeping & Closing Review: Oversee the final compliance review of executed closing packages; complete higher-tier file approvals and review complex exception requests; ensure all funding conditions, securities, and IDV are cleared.
•Third-Party & Solicitor Liaison: Serve as the primary operational point of escalation for external settlement agents, solicitors, Title Insurance providers, and law firms; handle Post-Fund matters as needed.
•Warehouse Allocation & Facility Drawdowns: Manage daily operations of requesting draws from warehouse lenders; allocate loans to correct credit facilities per investor parameters.
•Facility Limit & Covenant Monitoring: Monitor daily pipeline against facility concentration and liquidity limits to ensure compliance before funding.
•Treasury Connective Tissue: Partner with Treasury to provide real-time morning funding forecasts; support Finance to reconcile wire activities and loan fees.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in mortgage funding operations, or a Closing Service provider environment within the Canadian mortgage industry.
•At least 2–3 years of direct leadership or team management experience.
•Hands-on exposure to warehouse line operations, loan funding allocations, or investor pool adjustments is an asset.
•Deep Knowledge of Canadian mortgage funding mechanics and security enforcement; proficient with LOS, Salesforce CRM workflows, banking wire portals, and pipeline tracking spreadsheets.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to bridge sales/underwriting teams and internal Finance/Treasury partners.
