Job Summary

Oversee the company’s Regulatory Reporting function, ensuring timely and accurate recurring and ad hoc filings with Federal Banking Agencies. Lead day-to-day operations of the Regulatory Reporting Department, implement new regulatory reporting software, and stay current on GAAP and banking regulatory updates. Partner across functions to ensure changes are implemented correctly, support SOX compliance, assist with audits/examinations, and contribute to month-end close and executive reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee Regulatory Reporting operations and ensure timely, accurate recurring and ad hoc reporting to Federal Banking Agencies, primarily the Federal Reserve.
•Lead implementation of new regulatory reporting software.
•Stay current on rules, interpretations, and industry practices (GAAP and regulatory guidance) and assess impact on the company.
•Support SOX compliance and internal controls/policies/procedures related to regulatory changes.
•Assist with external audits and regulatory examinations, perform certain month-end close responsibilities, and provide executive ad hoc reporting.

Key Requirements

•4+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance (GL management, public reporting, analysis) or a similar field.
•Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
•Knowledge of GAAP and applicable regulatory/legal compliance obligations and industry practices.
•Experience with regulatory reporting (FR Y-14 M/Q/A and Y-15 preferred) and/or a Big 4 (or top tier) audit firm.
•Advanced computer skills including AxiomSL, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, SQL Server, and Workiva.
