Key Responsibilities

  • •Own operational procurement end-to-end for a commodity/category—from purchase order to component delivery to the factory—meeting time, quantity, and quality targets.
  • •Act as the day-to-day single point of contact for suppliers and coordinate with Planning, Quality, Logistics, and Finance teams to keep production running.
  • •Manage shortages and escalations end-to-end while keeping relevant stakeholders informed.
  • •Drive full order management, including expedite/de-expedite, and target OTIF ≥ 97% for the assigned category.
  • •Own day-to-day category cost and recommend solutions that optimize cost without compromising quality or delivery.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years as Commodity Buyer / Operational Buyer / Procurement Specialist in a manufacturing environment, ideally supplying components to in-house production.
  • •Strong command of the end-to-end purchase-to-pay process and confident use of an ERP system and Excel.
  • •English at B2 level for daily work with international stakeholders across manufacturing locations.
  • •Ability to manage multiple priorities, identify problems, and drive issues to a result.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics, or similar); technical degree is a plus.
