Key Responsibilities

  • •Propose, plan, and execute red team operations to assess confidentiality, integrity, authentication, availability, authorization, and non-repudiation against realistic threats.
  • •Maintain deep understanding of ByteDance enterprise products and how they could be attacked or abused.
  • •Conduct security exercises that emulate real-world threats and relevant TTPs.
  • •Translate requirements into test plans and write/execute test scripts or code to evaluate vulnerability to attacks.
  • •Write detailed reports with goals, outcomes, observations, and recommendations; collaborate cross-functionally to improve security offerings.

Key Requirements

  • •Completing or recently completed a Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • •Strong knowledge of red team operations and infrastructure security, including MITRE and TTPs.
  • •An adversarial mindset to emulate a real-world attacker.
  • •Excellent and professional communication skills to articulate complex topics clearly and concisely.
  • •Preferred: red team experience in an enterprise environment, plus CTF/live competition and hacking event experience.
