Job Summary

Lead the contract management function for assigned portfolios and provide day-to-day and strategic oversight of the Contract Manager supporting contract lifecycle delivery. Own contract lifecycle execution, guide negotiation strategy, manage contract risks and governance, and maintain auditable contract documentation. Support tender and offer contractual structures, advise internal stakeholders, coordinate with Litigation and external counsels, and contribute to compliance activities such as third-party screenings for tenders and projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Own contract lifecycle delivery for the assigned portfolios and lead negotiation strategy with commercial/legal recommendations.
•Manage contract risks and ensure governance processes are followed throughout execution.
•Manage the Contract Manager (1 direct report): set priorities, run regular check-ins, coach, review outputs, ensure quality, and escalate risks.
•Maintain auditable contract documentation and reporting across the contract lifecycle.
•Support contractual aspects of tenders/offers/variations/extensions and coordinate with Litigation and external counsels for disputes and claims as needed.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Advanced academic background in Law, Contract Management, Business, or related field (Master’s level) with specialization in Law.
•10 to 15 years of experience as a legal counsel or contract manager in an international context within a multinational company’s legal department.
•Analytical and synthesis skills to assess situations accurately and propose pragmatic solutions.
•Mastery of third-party review/screening techniques and ability to conduct compliance analyses.
•Strong proactivity, stakeholder management, leadership/coaching, and communication skills, including full mastery of IT tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
