Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and deliver highway schemes across the full project lifecycle, from feasibility and design through to construction and completion.
  • •Produce high-quality engineering designs, technical documentation, cost estimates, and contract information aligned with relevant standards and requirements.
  • •Manage your own projects and work packages to meet programme, budget, and quality expectations.
  • •Collaborate with clients, contractors, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
  • •Provide technical support and mentoring to technicians and junior colleagues while promoting safe and sustainable engineering solutions.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience delivering highway or civil engineering projects in a consultancy, contractor, or local authority environment, with interest in developing technical and project management skills.
  • •Knowledge of highway engineering principles, design standards, and construction practices, with ability to develop practical engineering solutions.
  • •Experience using industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, AutoTrack, MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, or similar.
  • •Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • •A proactive approach to professional development, health and safety, and supporting the growth of colleagues in the team.
