Lead the design and development of highly scalable backend systems for an AI-native cybersecurity platform. Drive end-to-end 0→1 technical initiatives across system design, implementation, and operationalization, while partnering with product, AI, security, and platform teams. Improve observability, reliability, testing, and deployment workflows, proactively mitigating scalability and operational risks. Mentor engineers and help shape engineering standards, practices, and architecture to scale the company.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead scalable backend system designs powering the AI-native cybersecurity platform
•Drive 0→1 technical initiatives across system design, strategy, implementation, and operationalization
•Translate ambiguous business and customer problems into technical solutions with cross-functional partners
•Lead design discussions and provide technical leadership across engineering domains
•Improve observability, reliability, testing, deployment workflows, and operational excellence while mentoring engineers

Key Requirements

•15+ years building and operating production-grade distributed systems
•Lead design and delivery of large-scale, highly available cloud-native systems
•Expertise in system design for distributed systems, APIs, event-driven architectures, and data-intensive applications
•Experience leading complex, ambiguous cross-functional technical initiatives from concept to production
•Proficiency in one or more backend languages (Rust, Python, TypeScript, or Go) and modern cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
