Job Summary

Support the Shipping/Traffic function by preparing and processing outbound shipping requests and executing logistics plans to ensure products reach destinations safely, securely, and on time. Coordinate transportation movements, maintain traffic accountability for classified shipments, and arrange disposal of surplus or obsolete material. Certify shipments per applicable regulations, prepare shipping documentation (labels, hazardous declarations, bills of lading, airway bills), and track goods through logistic pathways while communicating with internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

•Meet on-time deliverables including program costs and scheduling requirements.
•Organize transportation activities by managing information from origin to delivery and arranging services as needed.
•Coordinate and certify shipments in accordance with applicable regulations (e.g., 49 CFR, IATA, NISPOM, 32 CFR, AFMAN, Defense Transportation Regulations).
•Maintain traffic accountability for classified shipments and arrange disposal of surplus or obsolete material.
•Prepare outbound shipping documentation (shipping labels, hazardous declarations, bill of lading, airway bills) and coordinate/tracking of goods through logistic pathways.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
•Experience with shipping and packing hazardous materials for domestic and international movement.
•US Citizen with an active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date.
•Active and existing security clearance required on day 1.
•Experience with shipping government assets via TEAMS or ETOOLS is preferred.
