Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare accurate cost estimates by analyzing project specifications, materials, labor costs, and other factors to determine budgets.
  • •Manage and monitor project budgets during construction, tracking expenditures and identifying variances to stay within constraints.
  • •Support tendering activities by preparing tender documents, analyzing bids, and assisting in negotiating contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • •Administer construction contracts by reviewing contract terms, processing change orders, and helping resolve contractual disputes to ensure compliance.
  • •Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings and implement cost control and value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years of working experience, including 3 years of relevant quantity surveying experience.
  • •Proficiency in computer-based quantification and systems such as CCS (Candy).
  • •Strong knowledge of bill of quantities preparation and principles of measurement (e.g., International 1979, NRM2, CESMM3, QSSM, QCS, FIDIC).
  • •Ability to use AutoCAD for quantity takeoff and work effectively with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • •ERP knowledge is required, preferably SAP functional skills; GCC experience is a plus.
