Key Responsibilities

•Develop and improve the damage/vulnerability component of catastrophe models, starting with Severe Convective Storm
•Manage loss data collection from insurance and reinsurance companies for model calibration
•Coordinate wind damage assessments and related technical activities
•Communicate with clients, internal teams across offices, and academic partners
•Represent Aon at commercial, academic, and marketing events

Key Requirements

•University degree in Civil / Structural Engineering (or related field)
•Strong analytical and programming skills (Matlab, Python, R)
•Working knowledge of Building Design Standards
•Knowledge of vulnerability assessment methods and tools to develop damage/vulnerability curves
•Understanding of statistical data analysis methods
