Job Summary

Own the hardware product side of a general-purpose robot platform, defining next-generation requirements and translating field and research learnings into concrete hardware specs. Drive quality and reliability goals through ship gates and design validation, and lead the hardware roadmap from concept through DVT and production readiness. Partner with mechanical, electrical, hardware engineering, research, deployment, and operations to align on decisions, tradeoffs, and milestones.

Key Responsibilities

•Own and drive the hardware product roadmap from next-gen requirements through delivery.
•Write and maintain prioritized hardware requirements and specs, including interface definitions and verification/acceptance criteria.
•Partner with mechanical, electrical, and hardware engineering to shape what gets built and why.
•Translate field reliability data into hardware priorities and close learnings into the next revision.
•Drive hardware release lifecycle from concept through DVT and production readiness, managing milestones, dependencies, and risk.

Key Requirements

•4+ years of product management experience owning hardware or physical products end to end.
•Direct experience shipping physical products, taking work from requirements through manufacturing/delivery.
•Strong technical intuition for hardware and the ability to engage with mechanical and electrical engineers on sensors, actuation, and reliability tradeoffs.
•Comfort working across the hardware/software boundary, translating model/software needs into hardware requirements.
•High agency, hands-on ability to translate ambiguous, forward-looking goals into concrete, buildable requirements.
