Key Responsibilities

  • •Work in a structured two-year apprenticeship under immediate supervision with an assigned mentor.
  • •Gain exposure to common data and information sources and understand the effectiveness of different data pulls.
  • •Pull and analyze data from diverse sources to support analytics needs.
  • •Perform mathematical and/or financial duties as part of data analytics work.
  • •Develop reporting knowledge (metrics and pulling techniques) and use tools such as Power BI, SAS, SQL, and Python while shadowing departments across RCIS/crop insurance.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate degree in business or related field, or rising junior with two years of coursework in business or a related field and no prior years of insurance experience; contingent on admission to the University of Arizona Global Campus Bachelor of Business Administration program.
  • •Be legally eligible to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
  • •Interested in pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or related field.
  • •Minimum cumulative current GPA of 3.0.
  • •Experience with Power BI, Python, SAS, or Visual Basic (preferred), plus intermediate Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.
