Build the embedded software foundation for the Cerebras Wafer Scale Engine (WSE), owning Linux platform/BSP layers, firmware-level support, and administrative services that connect system software to cluster orchestration. Collaborate with hardware and ASIC teams, work with datacenter ops to diagnose root-cause system issues, and improve reliability, observability, and maintainability across the embedded stack. Contribute to design discussions, code reviews, and cross-team technical planning.

•Develop administrative software that enables communication between system-level software and cluster-level control layers.
•Provide and extend Linux BSP support to ensure reliability and maintainability of system-level platform components.
•Collaborate with teams to gather requirements, define scope, plan milestones, and deliver high-quality implementations.
•Work with datacenter operations and debug teams to diagnose system-level issues, determine root causes, and implement fixes.
•Partner with hardware and ASIC teams to monitor system hardware and wafer-level behavior and improve reliability and observability across the embedded stack.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 175,000 - 275,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
•5+ years building production-quality software in C++ or Golang.
•Strong understanding of embedded systems fundamentals or system hardware interactions.
•Experience in cross-functional engineering environments.
•Experience with Linux kernel concepts, device drivers, or BSP layers (preferred).
