Job Summary

Serve as frontline defense for Deliveroo’s Regional Operations Centre (ROC) in a high-tempo 24/7 environment. Monitor dashboards, alerts, inbound reports, and open-source signals to detect security, safety, and operational incidents; triage and execute SOPs with accurate documentation and coordination. Validate information to separate signal from noise, escalate threshold issues with structured context, and ensure disciplined shift handovers while continuously improving ROC readiness.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate the ROC in real time by monitoring dashboards, alerts, inbound reports, and open-source signals to identify emerging incidents.
•Triage incidents and execute standard operating procedures (SOPs) with accurate documentation, coordination, and validation.
•Conduct initial fact-finding and source validation to distinguish signal from noise and provide escalation-ready context.
•Escalate issues exceeding thresholds to management and conduct disciplined shift handovers to maintain continuous operations.
•Participate in drills, retrospectives, and continuous improvement activities to strengthen ROC readiness and workflows.

Key Requirements

•Demonstrated experience in a GSOC, ROC, SOC, or comparable 24/7 operations/incident response environment.
•Working knowledge of incident triage, escalation protocols, and operational playbooks under pressure.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills to deliver clear, structured operational context to leaders and partners.
•Ability to assess information quality and maintain high attention to detail across rotating shifts.
•Comfort working across monitoring dashboards, ticketing systems, and communication platforms, including rotating shifts.
