Location: United States
Workplace: Onsite
Employment Type: Full time
Job Function: Communications, PR & Community
Seniority: Mid level

Key Responsibilities

  • •Own vehicle mass properties (mass, center of gravity, moments and products of inertia) across configurations and mission states for all supported programs.
  • •Own vehicle mass fraction and CG envelope ownership to ensure mass properties meet vehicle-level requirements, including moment of inertia tracking against Level 1 requirements.
  • •Assign, manage, and enforce subsystem and team-level mass budgets in coordination with configuration management and integration teams; deliver weekly CG status and mass-versus-budget reporting.
  • •Deliver weekly mass trend analysis to identify heavy-trending groups, growth rates, and risk to vehicle closure; support engineering trades with weight-impact analysis.
  • •Own analytical-versus-actual weight reconciliation by obtaining actual part weights and reconciling predictions with discipline analyses, CAD, as-built hardware, and ground/flight test data; maintain and automate performance tracking and reporting.
