Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide business-oriented legal advice to management and staff and monitor, research, and address legal issues for the Spanish branch.
  • •Draft and negotiate IT contracts (e.g., software licenses, SaaS, outsourcing, technology partnerships) and commercial services agreements with third parties and intragroup.
  • •Support regulatory compliance and internal governance, raise awareness of legal risk, and develop legal risk mitigation measures.
  • •Represent Allianz with external partners and government authorities and steer external law firms when needed.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams and the global Allianz Technology Legal community; conduct trainings and support legislative processes implementation.

Key Requirements

  • •Admission to a bar in Spain, or a Master’s degree in Spanish law (or similar) enabling practice of (commercial) law in Spain.
  • •2+ years’ experience as an in-house attorney or in an international law firm, focused on IT, commercial and/or contract law.
  • •Excellent Spanish and English language skills; Portuguese is an advantage.
  • •Strong understanding of the business environment, ability to work in an international environment and in a team, and excellent communication skills.
  • •Strong negotiation skills and an analytical approach; ability to work independently as a trusted advisor with attention to detail.
