Key Responsibilities

  • •Own day-to-day insurance servicing and renewals for a portfolio of captive clients, ensuring Aon Guernsey and client deadlines are met.
  • •Review insurance-related matters for client board and committee meeting packs and communicate insurance topics at Board and Underwriting Committee meetings.
  • •Draft and review meeting minutes and contract wordings to ensure insurance programmes are fit for purpose and aligned with regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • •Develop relationships with clients, colleagues, regulators, insurers, and brokers, and keep clients updated on developments in Aon and global insurance markets.
  • •Provide and review timely insurance and claims information for finance colleagues preparing management accounts; support and develop staff reporting to you.

Key Requirements

  • •ACII qualification (or similar) or working towards the designation.
  • •Strong technical knowledge of the insurance and reinsurance industry.
  • •Confirmed general insurance experience; captive insurance experience is desirable.
  • •Strong client service focus with the ability to build relationships with senior partners.
  • •Competent Excel user; comfortable working with insurance and claims data, including supporting management accounts inputs.
