Key Responsibilities

  • •Steer carrier management for Last Mile and Middle Mile partners, including recurring business reviews, continuous performance optimization, and SLA compliance
  • •Analyze transport-related KPIs and vendor performance to detect deviations and derive effective recommendations
  • •Review billing processes of external logistics partners and reconcile costs and budgets to identify savings potential across the DACH region
  • •Conduct negotiations on pricing models, service arrangements, and ways of working to maximize cost efficiency while maintaining high quality
  • •Monitor and report key sustainability KPIs and drive reductions in CO₂ emissions in collaboration with partner networks

Key Requirements

  • •Several years of experience managing and overseeing external courier, express, and parcel service providers as well as freight forwarders, with strong negotiation skills
  • •Proficiency with data analysis tools, especially MS Excel or Google Workspace (e.g., Power Query, pivot tables), and the ability to translate complex metrics into actionable recommendations
  • •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a confident approach when working with diverse internal stakeholders and external partners
  • •A solution-oriented, structured working style and a pragmatic approach to dynamic operational challenges
  • •Fluent German (at least C1) and good English (at least B2)
