Job Summary

Create detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings for aircraft structures, systems, and components using CATIA and SolidWorks. Generate engineering drawings with dimensions, tolerances, GD&T, BOMs, and assembly instructions, and produce manufacturing data packs. Manage CAD data in PDM/PLM, support prototype and production implementation, coordinate with suppliers, and verify designs through reviews and quality checks to meet aerospace and airworthiness requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Create detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings for aircraft structures, systems, and components using CATIA and SolidWorks.
•Generate engineering drawings including dimensions, tolerances, GD&T, BOMs, and assembly instructions.
•Produce and configure manufacturing data packs and maintain CAD models, including “buy” parts, in the PLM/PDM system.
•Create and manage complex aircraft assemblies and ensure interface control between components.
•Support prototype development, testing, and production implementation by providing accurate design data; coordinate with suppliers and stakeholders and verify designs through reviews and quality checks.

Key Requirements

•Diploma in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Aerospace engineering, or related discipline.
•11–15 years of work experience in an aerospace or mechanical design environment.
•Specialized training/certification in CATIA and/or SolidWorks (preferred).
•Training in engineering drawing standards, GD&T, and aerospace drafting practices (desirable).
•Knowledge of aircraft design principles, manufacturing processes, and configuration management practices.
