Key Responsibilities

  • •Support a variety of civil engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
  • •Assist with project research and preliminary design calculations, analysis, and development.
  • •Support preparation of design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates.
  • •Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation and participate in assigned training.
  • •Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making and perform additional responsibilities as needed.

  • •Must be 18 or older and demonstrate interest in Civil Engineering (or related) with a strong desire to advance skills on WSP work and projects.
  • •Competent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with engineering and non-engineering audiences.
  • •Capable of taking direction from leadership, mentors, and managers to execute project work.
  • •Authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship; also demonstrate workplace safety and ability to follow relevant policies.
