Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead mechanical design, integration & assembly of complex subsystems and electromechanical assemblies into larger system architectures, ensuring proper fit, alignment, and functionality.
  • •Design and execute mechanical test campaigns for functional, environmental, and qualification testing, including development of custom fixtures and data collection.
  • •Analyze test data to identify anomalies and perform root cause analysis; collaborate with design engineers to implement effective solutions.
  • •Cross-functional verification with Electrical, Systems, Software, and Manufacturing teams to define interfaces and verify system-level performance.
  • •Document and refine processes by generating test reports, assembly instructions, and engineering change requests; improve integration and test methodologies for DFA and manufacturability.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 146,000 - 194,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 10+ years of direct, hands-on experience in mechanical integration, assembly, and testing of complex hardware systems.
  • •Hands-on experience with mechanical test equipment (e.g., shakers, thermal chambers, data acquisition systems, load cells, accelerometers) and precise measurements.
  • •Proven ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical/electromechanical issues and perform thorough root cause analysis in a fast-paced environment.
  • •Experience creating detailed assembly instructions, test procedures, and comprehensive reports, plus familiarity reading CAD drawings and CAD models.
  • •Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
