Job Summary

We are seeking a Process Engineer with extensive hands-on expertise in Sulfur Recovery Unit (SRU) and Sour Water Stripper (SWS) processes to monitor, optimize, and drive performance improvements for refinery SRU/SWS facilities within Aramco’s Operations Engineering Solutions Department (OESD). The role focuses on remote/on-site advisory, benchmarking, technology knowledge management, and implementing cost-effective performance enhancements across global manufacturing facilities.

Job Function: Industrial, Process & Manufacturing Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct regular performance reviews of SRU & SWS facilities and analyze KPIs related to operability, profitability, reliability, and process safety.
•Develop and present quarterly benchmarking reports with actionable improvement recommendations.
•Provide hands-on support in implementing performance improvement initiatives, demonstrating measurable results in closing identified gaps.
•Lead benchmarking and best practices exchange workshops among Global Manufacturing facilities, facilitating knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
•Deliver on-demand remote and field technical advisory support, including troubleshooting, start-up/shutdown activities, capacity test runs, and technology pilot testing with detailed service reports.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (an advanced degree preferred)
•Minimum 15 years total refinery or gas plants process unit experience, with at least 10 years hands-on SRU/SWS experience
•In-depth knowledge of SRU/TGTU/SWS process licensor technologies and hands-on troubleshooting, start-up/shutdown, and capacity test runs
•Strong data analysis and visualization skills related to SRU/SWS performance metrics
•Strong management and coordination skills with experience in stakeholder management and presenting technical information
