Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead day-to-day SXEW Plant, Tankhouse, and Maintenance operations to ensure safe, reliable, compliant, and efficient copper cathode production.
  • •Achieve site copper cathode production plan by executing production, maintenance, reliability, and cost objectives.
  • •Establish and drive performance metrics (copper cathode production, plant utilization, equipment availability, maintenance compliance, recovery rates, operating costs, product quality, safety).
  • •Improve plant availability, operational reliability, maintenance effectiveness, and overall equipment performance through action plans and reliability efforts.
  • •Provide leadership and oversight for the Maintenance Department and coordinate maintenance planning/scheduling to support production priorities, backlog management, and execution of work.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Metallurgical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related technical discipline (equivalent experience may be considered).
  • •7-9 years of progressive leadership experience in mineral processing, hydrometallurgical processing, SXEW operations, chemical processing, industrial manufacturing, or similar heavy industrial environments.
  • •Demonstrated experience leading operations and maintenance functions in a production environment.
  • •Proven ability to improve safety performance, equipment reliability, productivity, cost performance, and operational effectiveness.
  • •Experience managing budgets, forecasts, workforce planning, operating systems/procedures, and performance improvement initiatives.
