Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in developing air vehicle requirements.
  • •Create vehicle-level models for loads and dynamics analysis.
  • •Perform loads and dynamics analysis to support air vehicle design, including flight/ground simulations and flutter/divergence and noise & vibration assessments.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications related to the work statement.
  • •2+ years work-related experience with a Bachelors degree (or equivalent combination of work-related experience and technical education).
  • •Coursework and/or work experience in aerodynamics, stability & control, structural dynamics, aeroelasticity, and/or finite element modeling (FEM).
  • •Proficiency with one or more higher-level programming languages (e.g. C, Matlab, Python, or similar).
  • •Knowledge/experience with finite element analysis (FEA), vibrations analysis, and/or multi-body dynamics (MBD), or prior experience with static/dynamic external loads and flight/ground testing.
