Job Summary

Operate the scale that weighs aggregate trucks and support customer pick-up at the yard. Monitor truck load sizes, manage cash and gravel ticket procedures, and use a computer system/dispatch tools to enter delivery times and product information. Coordinate with the loader operator via two-way radio, maintain an MSHA Part 46 log, and ensure site safety rules are followed while greeting visitors and handling delivery paperwork.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure efficiency of weighing trucks across the scale and monitor company truck load sizes.
•Service customer pick-up business, including cash procedures for C.O.D. sales and gravel tickets and daily cash balancing.
•Communicate with the loader operator via two-way radio to accomplish loading of pick-up customers.
•Enter delivery times from concrete tickets into the computer system and record accurate delivery/product information.
•Maintain MSHA Part 46 log compliance, follow site safety rules, and assist with greeting visitors and yard paperwork (order cards and delivery tickets).
