Key Responsibilities

  • •Collect eggs, place them in plastic flats, mark per line identification standards, and record eggs laid per flock.
  • •Provide daily flock care: calculate pounds per pen, weigh using a hopper scale, distribute feed, weigh samples with digital scales, and collect weekly lab samples via boot swabs and cleft pallet swabs.
  • •Monitor flocks for injury/illness and report to lead/manager; collect, record, and dispose of flock mortality.
  • •Maintain flock environment by flushing water lines, maintaining pen bedding and nests, and clearing dust from equipment.
  • •Maintain a clean work area and follow safety policies; perform assigned additional duties such as operating hoses and maintaining vehicles/equipment.

Key Requirements
