Key Responsibilities

  • •Weigh or measure raw materials to ensure accurate blends per product specifications
  • •Load and operate shredder/granulator and Sortex equipment using plant scrap and purchased material
  • •Perform preventive maintenance tasks on Sortex and shredder equipment and clean equipment for changeovers
  • •Transfer raw material and components between work areas to meet production targets, supplying machines and communicating critical information
  • •Examine finished product quality and adjust material blends as instructed; address material flow issues and maintain a clean, safe work environment

Key Requirements

  • •Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
  • •Prior experience with forklift or powered hand jack, preferred

  • •Forklift or hand jack certification and Lockout/Tagout authorization (provided by OES)
