Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop early-stage physical design flows, with emphasis on pre-place-and-route (pre PnR) methodology.
  • •Collaborate with customers to understand design and advanced node requirements for 3D-IC applications.
  • •Work with foundry partners to translate those requirements into advanced software solutions.
  • •Architect software infrastructure for large-scale data and software systems for 3D-IC workflows (e.g., system-level PPA, design ECO, early-stage optimization).
  • •Implement and optimize software performance, capacity, and usability for engineering workflows.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
  • •Strong computer science foundation, including data structures, algorithms, computational geometry, parallel programming, and compiler concepts.
  • •Experience with early-stage physical design flows prior to place-and-route.
  • •Ability to debug programs with large legacy codebases and knowledge of object-oriented programming.
  • •Knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments; ability to communicate professionally in English.
