Key Responsibilities

  • •Handle construction casualty underwriting for complex new and renewal accounts across Auto, GL, and Workers’ Compensation, including large project/wrap-up programs.
  • •Meet with agents and brokers in the market and collaborate with the underwriting team to apply disciplined risk assessment and pricing.
  • •Use risk insights, data and models to drive informed decisions at the point of sale.
  • •Market-facing and production responsibilities within the Construction division.
  • •Administer and monitor underwriting rules, regulations, and rating manual rules; operate within broad limits on complex assignments.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 100,000 - 215,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in underwriting or market-facing roles.
  • •High school diploma or equivalent with 10+ years of experience in the claims or underwriting support area.
  • •Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 3+ years of experience in the underwriting or market-facing area.
  • •Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 8+ years of experience in the claims or underwriting support area.
  • •Experience with Microsoft Office.
