Key Responsibilities

  • •Interpret topographic survey data, field notes, and engineering inputs to produce accurate civil design drawings
  • •Develop and manage advanced Civil 3D models that support design analysis and infrastructure layouts
  • •Lead drafting and design components on large multidisciplinary projects while ensuring compliance with CAD standards and quality processes
  • •Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and project managers to deliver complete, coordinated design packages
  • •Mentor junior and intermediate designers, strengthening technical capability and fostering a culture of continuous learning

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or CAD certificate with 8+ years of civil, environmental, or related drafting/design experience
  • •Minimum 8 years of hands-on Civil 3D experience with a strong commitment to CAD standards and quality control
  • •Proven ability to prepare complete drawing packages using survey data, client information, and field notes with minimal supervision
  • •Strong analytical skills, including advanced calculations and data manipulation in Excel to support engineering workflows
  • •Experience with additional tools such as Plant 3D, Revit, ReCap, Vulcan, MinePlan, Global Mapper, Surfer, gINT, OpenGround, MicroStation, Autodesk Construction Cloud is an asset
