Job Summary

Work with at-risk elementary students in a K-12 virtual school setting, providing targeted remediation through individualized and small-group sessions. Adapt K12 curriculum to state standards, implement the RTI instructional system, and oversee progress monitoring and RTI data collection across tiers. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support teams, provide training on RTI/data procedures, and support tier 2 interventions with some travel for professional development and testing.

Key Responsibilities

•Modify and/or adapt the K12 curriculum to meet the unique needs of each student in alignment with state content standards.
•Collaborate with general education teachers to deliver individualized and small-group instruction for targeted students.
•Ensure implementation of the RTI instructional system, including overseeing data collection and progress monitoring at every tier and using data to guide instruction.
•Collect and maintain RTI data, serve as a daily resource on RTI issues, and coordinate/tack Tier 2 interventions with relevant staff.
•Educate parents on instructional strategies and provide ongoing training and support to school/district staff regarding RTI and data collection procedures.

Travel: Low travel

Salary: USD 48,752 - 60,940 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree and an active state teaching license.
•Missouri Elementary Teaching Certification required; Special Education certification preferred or an appropriate elementary certification in another state with MO licensure within 60 days of employment.
•Ability to clear required background check.
•Ability to work collaboratively to interpret and produce numeric, tabular, and graphic representations of student data to drive instructional decisions.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
