Key Responsibilities

  • •Review, evaluate, and summarize risk exposures, controls, loss history, and financial condition to support underwriting decisions.
  • •Follow underwriter instructions to accurately quote and issue policies (bonds), including rating, subjective pricing, and policy construction.
  • •Provide account servicing support for new business, renewals, and endorsements, ensuring end-to-end servicing for basic to moderately complex business.
  • •Support underwriting through roker/agent/distributor/customer interactions by providing basic customer service and handling inquiries appropriately.
  • •Conduct due diligence on transactions and processes, assess underwriting processes against technical standards and controls, and help identify opportunities for improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree with no prior relevant experience OR high school diploma/equivalent with 2+ years relevant experience.
  • •Knowledge of data collection and analysis.
  • •Microsoft Office experience.
  • •Under close supervision, follows instructions on policy rating, pricing, construction, coverages and exclusions, and mandatory forms.
  • •Ability to review and interpret established policies and apply discretion within authority limits to resolve customer issues.
