Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in the district sales manager training program and complete assigned projects independently.
  • •Coach and support independent agents to achieve business goals and improve sales, underwriting, profitability, and agency management performance.
  • •Recruit, train, and develop new agents.
  • •Assist agent offices with product knowledge and underwriting/agency operations; train agents and advise clients on coverages to meet insurance goals.
  • •Accompany sales/claims/underwriting personnel on agent visits and support policyholder/claims inquiries while implementing sales promotion programs and preparing inspection reports as directed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree, required; or Associate’s degree and two years of sales, underwriting, claims or marketing experience; or High school diploma or GED and four years of sales, underwriting, claims or marketing experience.
  • •Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • •Willingness to relocate to other offices and reside within the assigned territory.
  • •Frequent travel required.
  • •Completion of Life and Property/Casualty licensing exams is required to complete the training program; willingness to pursue insurance designations is required.
