Job Summary

Lead end-to-end product development for Toys & Hardlines across ANZ, Southeast Asia, and India, managing categories from concept through CAD review, sampling, packaging, and production. Guide toy functionality, safety, materials, and manufacturing feasibility, and translate franchise priorities into show-to-shelf execution. Partner with licensees, retailers, agents, and internal teams across time zones to deliver brand-consistent, market-ready designs.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage assigned Toys & Hardlines categories through the product development lifecycle from concept to production, including CAD review, sampling, packaging, and final production within timelines.
•Review and guide toy functionality, safety considerations, materials, tooling constraints, and manufacturing feasibility.
•Create and deliver design direction and overlays aligned with property guidelines and franchise priorities for licensees, retailers, and agents.
•Contribute to design strategy by identifying growth opportunities, conceptualizing line extensions, and balancing design vision with cost targets, MOQ, retail price points, and production timelines.
•Serve as the day-to-day Design & PD contact, leading meetings and coordinating clear follow-ups with internal teams and external partners across multiple time zones.

Key Requirements

•Proven background in licensing, manufacturing, or consumer product design, with strong understanding of product development processes for Toys & Hardlines.
•Experience developing licensed entertainment products.
•Strong design and illustration skills, with a grasp of 2D composition and 3D form factors.
•Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator, plus working knowledge of InDesign, Keynote, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
•Bachelor’s degree in Toy Design, Industrial Design, Illustration, or a related field.
