Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the Portfolio Manager to ensure EMEA country corporate and business accounting obligations are met.
  • •Drive process improvements to standardize country accounting processes, enhancing efficiency, effectiveness, and internal control.
  • •Provide statutory accounting/audit financial leadership including corporation income tax and indirect tax accounting.
  • •Prepare GAAP to Stat workbooks and create/manage Thomson Reuters (TR) templates for annual financial statement creation.
  • •Support audits (including US and statutory audits for a portfolio of entities), respond to tax queries, maintain SOP/process documentation, and support audit centralization initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting; a master’s is an advantage.
  • •Relevant experience in statutory and audit work.
  • •Excellent working knowledge of English; other European languages are an advantage.
  • •Experience implementing best practices and end-to-end process improvement in accounting and reporting.
  • •Knowledge of US GAAP and/or other statutory reporting requirements is preferred; exposure to Sarbanes Oxley is beneficial.
