Key Responsibilities

  • •Troubleshoot, tear-down, repair, refurbish, overhaul, assemble, test, and install designated electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment.
  • •Support preventive and corrective maintenance on FAA and interagency systems, including fault isolation and replacement of failed LRUs.
  • •Assemble and repair systems/components including cables, circuit boards, test fixtures, prototypes, and related structures; complete adjustment, testing, and certification processes.
  • •Perform equipment performance analyses, collect/record engineering data, and provide information for reporting/billing via DCRS.
  • •Install and maintain NAS/inter-agency systems and perform work at heights (including tower/radome-related maintenance) as required, traveling up to 70%.
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum High School Diploma/GED with completion of formal technical training courses.
  • •Ability to successfully complete a physical fitness evaluation with minimum 125 lbs and maximum 290 lbs weight restrictions.
  • •Obtain NACI Clearance / ability to obtain Public Trust.
  • •A valid driver's license is required.
  • •Rope work/work at heights experience and ability to work at heights are desired (including tower/radome-related work).
