Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead pre-silicon performance modeling and feature exploration using modular cycle-accurate or cycle-approximate simulators for GPU subsystems.
  • •Conduct microarchitectural exploration with data-driven recommendations and sensitivity analyses across GPU configurations.
  • •Characterize workloads to identify bottlenecks and bound performance across graphics and compute/AI workloads.
  • •Drive hardware-software co-design and workload optimization, including scaling AI/LLM workloads and optimizing memory hierarchies and interconnects.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally with compiler, runtime, and software framework teams (e.g., PyTorch, Triton) to implement and recommend optimizations.

Key Requirements

  • •5-10 years of industry experience in silicon performance engineering, GPU modeling, or microarchitecture design
  • •B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech. in a relevant field
  • •Strong proficiency in modern C++ and Python
  • •Hands-on experience building or contributing to cycle-accurate hardware performance simulators
  • •Experience with AI/Compute workloads (LLMs, Tensor/Kernels) and graphics pipelines
