Job Summary

Support the HSE Manager/Project HSE Manager to implement the company HSE management system. Assist with planning, implementing, evaluating, and analyzing on-site HSE activities to ensure targets and objectives are met. Help ensure compliance with project PHSP and HSE programmes, run HSE training and meetings, monitor hazards and corrective actions, and support incident reporting and resolution. Provide guidance on accident prevention and work methods while supporting HSE officers onsite.

Key Responsibilities

•Support implementation of and compliance to the Project Health and Safety Management Plan (PHSP) and Project HSE Management Programme.
•Arrange and participate in HSE training sessions, HSE Committee, and coordination meetings.
•Advise supervisory staff on accident prevention and improvements to work methods, and assist in leading and supervising HSE officers onsite.
•Monitor project execution of HSE activities to ensure requirements are met, including identifying hazards and unsafe practices daily, raising observation reports, and recording corrective measures.
•Address and report daily violations, monitor timely HSE performance reporting, and support HSE initiatives including safety awareness and incident reporting/resolution.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 5 years of working experience, including 3 years of relevant working experience (2 years in GCC is a plus).
•Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Level 6 Diploma in OHS, plus a Diploma in NEBOSH or related technical certificates.
•Knowledge of relevant safety regulations, procedures, and instructions, including Qatar and international safety standards.
•Strong knowledge of integrated management systems and environmental regulations (air, wastewater, hazardous waste), plus chemical material management and MSDS.
•ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills.
