Key Responsibilities

  • •Support development, implementation, and maintenance of RMF artifacts and security control validation to obtain and maintain an Authority to Operate (ATO).
  • •Review proposed system changes and evaluate cybersecurity impact to ensure modifications do not adversely affect security or accreditation.
  • •Perform vulnerability assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and document remediation plans; validate and implement security improvements using security best practices.
  • •Develop cybersecurity requirements and system security architecture documentation (including boundary diagrams, data flow diagrams, hardware/software inventories, and RMF documentation).
  • •Conduct STIG implementation/compliance validation and vulnerability scanning using tools such as Evaluate STIG, STIG Viewer, SCAP Compliance Checker, Tenable.sc, and Nessus; provide Linux systems administration and cybersecurity troubleshooting support.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience (or an advanced related degree and 3+ years).
  • •Active and transferable Secret clearance required prior to start; ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
