Job Summary

Drive the technical side of the sales cycle for Fortinet security solutions, leading RFIs and supporting RFPs/RFQs through customer technical closure. Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners, participate in POCs, and translate security and networking requirements into winning architectures. Maintain deal momentum across multiple opportunities, present technical solutions in person or remotely, and keep accurate technical CRM activity.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the technical aspects of the sales cycle, from RFIs through RFPs/RFQs, including project management and active participation in POCs.
•Understand customer technical requirements and build solutions that outperform competitor offerings.
•Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners in close collaboration with sales.
•Continuously improve knowledge of Fortinet products/solutions and maintain awareness of the competitive landscape and evolving threats.
•Position Fortinet solutions remotely or in person and manage multiple deals while maintaining accurate CRM (Salesforce) activity and account technical information.

Key Requirements

•High aptitude for security technology, including encryption and authentication, with desirable knowledge of network security, intrusion detection, anti-virus, routing, switching, LAN and WAN.
•Experience in a pre-sales engineer role managing end-to-end technical aspects of deals through technical closure.
•Demonstrated problem-solving skills and impact on key wins.
•Ability to build and maintain customer relationships and communicate technically to a range of stakeholders.
•Strong understanding of security solutions including firewall technology, SD-WAN, IPSEC, SSL-VPN, anti-DDoS, web application firewall, SIEM, SOAR, authentication, dual/multi-factor authentication, endpoint security, sandboxing, email security, and SASE; university degree/engineer diploma.
