Job Summary

Provide end-to-end application support and maintenance for a healthcare provider’s COTS healthcare applications. Own incident and problem management for L2/L3 issues, perform proactive monitoring and regular maintenance, and support change and release activities with impact analysis and rollback planning. Coordinate with business users, internal IT teams, and third-party vendors, and maintain runbooks, knowledge articles, and audit documentation while adhering to healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and data privacy standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide L2/L3 incident and problem management for COTS healthcare applications, ensuring timely restoration and SLA adherence.
•Proactively monitor application health, interfaces, and batch jobs; perform maintenance, patch validation, and upgrades.
•Assess, implement, and validate application changes through controlled release processes with impact analysis and rollback planning.
•Act as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and third-party vendors to resolve issues and escalations.
•Maintain knowledge articles, runbooks, and audit documentation while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy requirements.

Key Requirements

•6–12 years of experience in application support and maintenance.
•Experience working in the healthcare provider domain with strong understanding of hospital workflows and operational support.
•Handle incident and problem management, including investigating and resolving L2/L3 incidents and performing root cause analysis for recurring issues.
•Maintain applications through proactive monitoring, patch validation, and upgrades in coordination with vendors and internal teams.
•Support controlled change and release processes, including impact analysis and rollback planning.
