Job Summary

Support and maintain First Solar’s global network infrastructure, including Cisco routers, Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco switches, CallManager/VoIP systems, wireless LAN controllers, cameras, and access control systems. Monitor and troubleshoot LAN/WAN performance, intrusion detection, and service delivery metrics. Work with network protocols and applications (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing, BGP/EIGRP) and maintain detailed network documentation. Assist with change control, system updates, and security investigations, reporting to the IT Network Lead.

•Research, plan, implement, support, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain global infrastructure services including network, security, VoIP, and physical access systems.
•Support network and internet protocols and applications including WINS, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, IIS, SNMP, SMTP, routing, BGP/EIGRP, H.323, link aggregation, redundancy, PEAP, spanning tree, and VLANs.
•Evaluate, diagnose, and troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues.
•Create, modify, and maintain network documentation with attention to detail.
•Support change requests and change control; monitor service capacity and performance metrics, and investigate minor security breaches and service problems.

Salary: USD 62,500 - 89,000 annually

•Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (or related field) or equivalent years of work experience.
•Knowledge of Cisco IOS software upgrades and patch management best practices in an Enterprise Cisco environment.
•Experience with Cisco CallManager or other VoIP provider (desired).
•Understanding of WAN network infrastructure and protocols.
