Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage project teams responsible for development tasks for transportation and urban development projects requiring independent judgment.
  • •Coordinate with multidisciplinary experts across disciplines such as roadway, transit, structures, environmental, geotechnical, traffic, electrical, storm drainage, utilities, right of way, and related design fields.
  • •Prepare project reports, plans, and specifications and ensure they meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements.
  • •Interact with clients and lead technical meetings for project delivery.
  • •Lead and supervise the production of junior and mid-level staff associated with specific projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning, Urban Design, Project Management, Civil Engineering, Government, Legal, or related field from an accredited program.
  • •Minimum of ten (10) years of experience managing, planning, and designing infrastructure or development projects.
  • •Commercial, contractual, and negotiation skills, including right-of-way acquisition, entitlements, zoning, financing, public outreach, and infrastructure design/construction.
  • •Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and ability to work within a team environment.
  • •Ability to travel over 20% and function effectively with long hours and extended-duration travel as needed.
