Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform astrodynamics analyses including transfer orbit design, propellant budgeting, mission planning, and station-keeping design and analysis.
  • •Support mission activities across launch, transfer orbits, and on-orbit mission operations within the Mission Control Center environment.
  • •Interact with customers, launch vehicle providers, subsystem leads, and program management to support trade studies and new business across GEO/LEO/MEO/cis-lunar regimes.
  • •Contribute to spacecraft systems engineering by defining and flowing requirements between subsystems and astrodynamics and supporting mission-specific analysis/operational tools.
  • •Identify software requirements and support implementation of specialized astrodynamics software tools.

Key Requirements

  • •Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance requiring US Citizenship (Tier 5/Post-Start).
  • •Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry (or non-US equivalent related qualifications).
  • •2+ years of experience with orbital mechanics, mission analysis & design, spacecraft operations, or system engineering.
  • •Basic coding skills and familiarity with MATLAB (or equivalent software).
  • •Experience/education combinations consistent with Associate Level 2 (2+ years with bachelor’s) or equivalent.
