Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and lead HP’s responsible sourcing policy, standards, and guidelines program, including governance, updates, and routing.
  • •Lead supplier requirements, ensuring supplier handbook and portal content and communications remain current and aligned to evolving regulations and stakeholder commitments.
  • •Design and govern supplier training and capability-building, including topic prioritization, scalable materials, and measurement of engagement and effectiveness.
  • •Develop and advance living wage strategy and lead human rights due diligence across HP’s value chain, including prevention/mitigation and integration into sourcing strategy and disclosures.
  • •Engage with executive governance forums and the Human Rights Council; monitor legislative and stakeholder developments and convert insights into executive-ready recommendations and supplier guidance.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of relevant experience in public affairs, responsible sourcing, human rights, sustainability, supply chain due diligence, policy, regulatory strategy, or stakeholder engagement as a senior subject matter expert in a global matrixed organization.
  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Human Rights, Law, Public Policy, Public Affairs, Sustainability, Supply Chain, International Relations, Business, or related field; legal training or experience with international human rights standards preferred.
  • •Strong executive-level written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English required (additional languages a plus).
  • •Expert knowledge of responsible sourcing and human rights topics, including labor standards, living wage, responsible recruitment, forced labor prevention, and responsible exit principles.
  • •Experience managing human rights and environmental due diligence, policy/regulatory readiness, and translating findings into supplier expectations and disclosures.
