  • •Own and evolve architecture artefacts including reference architectures, Architecture Decision Records, and technical standards.
  • •Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Cyber, and Data teams to solve challenges through data technology and unlock business value.
  • •Nurture architecture excellence by leading technical design reviews and driving architecture best practice within the Data team and broader architecture organisation.

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrable hands-on experience as a Senior Manager Architect in a large, complex data-led organisation.
  • •Deep expertise in modern cloud-scale distributed data processing (Spark, PySpark, Python, Airflow) and ELT for data lakehouse and data products used in ML/AI.
  • •Expertise in streaming data, event-driven design, data governance, and AWS technology stack (e.g., Glue, ServerLess, DynamoDB).
  • •Proven track record leading enterprise-scale data application architecture and implementation across distributed processing, lakehouse, streaming, and ML/AI platform capabilities.
  • •Working knowledge of ML and Generative AI, including agentic AI systems across the architecture and software development lifecycle.
